This cam will work with oem valve springs/pushrods in the DOD equipped Gen 4 (2007-2013) trucks. This is an OEM camshaft that comes standard on Non-DOD 5.3L trucks. Since these come as single bolt cams, a new timing gear wont be necessary. Swap cams and additional DOD removal parts and you're ready to roll! A fairly stock truck shouldn't require dyno tuning, however the DOD system must be disabled in the ECU for proper functionality. Consult with your tuner for additional information!
