Ratech Solid Pinion Spacer & Shim Kit For GM 8.5 & 8.625 10 Bolt Differential - 4109
Ratech Solid Pinion Spacers can be used in place of the traditional pinion gear crush sleeve. Using a solid spacer instead of the crush sleeve provides increased strength and durability by not allowing any additional compression of the sleeve due to harsh launches or other high load events. Solid pinon spacers are also reusable and do not require being replaced during disassembly and re-assembly.
Installation will require precisely measuring pinion gear bearing drag during multiple set-up trials. Shims are added or subtracted until proper pinion drag is achieved at the specified pinion nut installation torque spec.
