RaceTronix 99-07 GM Truck Plug & Play Fuel Pump Hotwire Kit
This RaceTronix plug and play fuel pump hotwire kit allows you to provide direct battery voltage to your fuel pump assembly without the need to cut or splice anywhere in your original harness. Perfect for in-tank upgrades like Walbro fuel pump retrofits in the original housing or the DW400 drop in pump assembly.
The original fuel pump wiring in the OEM harness is undersized and fed from a fuse block power distribution feed. Upgrading to this plug and play harness provides direct battery power and properly sized wire for upgraded aftermarket high flow fuel pump assemblies. The harness uses the original fuel pump module plug to provide a trigger to the hotwire harness's relay allowing direct-to-battery pump circuitry without the need to cut or splice your original harness.
IMPORTANT NOTE - 99-03 truck owners PLEASE BE SURE to note your fuel pump plug style. The 04-07 kit option uses the newer 4 pin flat style connector that has become the standard service part/TSB replacement for earlier style pump assemblies. If you have a 99-03, your pump may have already been upgraded to the 04-07 GT280 style plug. Please verify your connector. If it looks like the connector below, please select the 04-07 option from the drop down menu to ensure you do not need to run an adapter.
*This harness is not compatible with L59 flex-fuel modules.
