The Katech Gen-V L83 & L86 Wet Sump Oil Pump features a 4140 billet Steel single gear eliminates factory powdered metal gear and may require calibration changes to turn off high-performance oil pump DTC codes when using a truck pump in car applications (HP tuners, EFI Live, etc.) No core required; this is a brand new pump.
LT Style wet sump truck engine: L83, L86 higher volume and pressure than the A7502, can be used in LT1 and LT2 engines with tuning. Use of truck pump in car applications will result in higher than OEM oil pressure.
