Improved Racing Windage Tray for up to 4" Stroke LS Engines, Front Clearance Pans
Improved Racing's performance aluminum windage tray for LS family engines is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory tray that clears up to a 4" stroke and works with both factory studs and ARP studs. This is a 3/4-length windage tray designed to clear shallow front oil pans such as the 4th Gen F-Body oil pan.
These windage trays are 100% bolt-on compatible with factory LS oil pans. No need to grind, modify, or add spacers to your windage tray. No more oil starvation issues due to misaligned pickup tubes. Just bolt this on and everything will line up like factory!
Improved Racing has designed this windage tray to maximize oil drainage while optimizing windage control. Made from aluminum, it weighs less than half as much as the steel factory tray. Compatible with all of the oil pans listed below, no modifications necessary.

- 1x EGM-243 aluminum performance windage tray
- 8x locking flange nuts for factory studs (for ARP studs, use nuts provided by ARP)
- 7x reducing bushings for use with factory studs

Applications:
- Fits engines with factory or aftermarket rods and crankshafts up to a 4.000” stroke.
- CAD-verified to fit Gen III & IV LS & Vortec family engines with the oil pans listed in the table below.

Does NOT fit engines with stepped main caps (Dart LS Next engines).
- EGM-243 may fit additional aftermarket oil pans if:
- The aftermarket pan uses a dip stick tube that is compatible with any of the oil pans listed in the table below.
- The aftermarket pan uses a pickup tube that is compatible with any of the oil pans listed in the table below.
- The shallowest part of the pan must be at least 1.72" deep when measured from the gasket. See image below for reference.
- Additional trimming may be required for interference-free installation with aftermarket oil pickup tubes.
