These beehive springs from BTR are a drop in replacement for the stock valve springs on your L83, L84, L86, L87, L8T or LT1 engine. Designed to be used with stock retainers and locks. Option to include BTR hat style valve seals (Part Number: VS LS Hat Kit).
Spring Specs:
- 95lbs @ 1.870"
- 300lbs @ 1.330"
- Coil bind @ 1.280"
- 386lb spring rate
NOTE: BTR does not recommend single wire conical or beehive springs with roller rockers due to the extra mass causing loss of valve train stability, or the use of a higher ratio rocker as it could possibly cause a coil bind issue. If you have a specific combination of valvetrain parts you are needing to use a roller rocker on, please call in to our sales team for clarification.
