Smeding Performance Crankshafts start out as a 4340 billet steel alloy core, are forged by non-twist machinery, shot peened to decrease surface stress, heat treated in increase tensile strength and finally nitrided to prevent surface wear. All Smeding Performance Crankshafts come with the reluctor wheel already installed for you!
