Fluidampr Engine Dampers unique construction is designed to control destructive vibrations which are transferred thru the crankshaft. This balancer is SFI Approved. Fluidampr's underdrive balancer uses stock diameter a/c belt drive.
An underdrive balancer frees up additional horsepower by reducing parasitic drag from the accessory drive through slowing down the belt drive and reducing drag.
This part number is compatible with both the 99-13 truck front drive accessories and 10-15 Camaro LS3/L99 front drive accessories as both applications share the same spacing.
This underdrive balancer will require a shorter drive belt for proper belt tensioning since they feature a smaller pulley diameter.
