NOTE: 1999-2002 GM Truck applications will require BP Automotive's A/C update kit in order for the fan harness to function as intended. This is automatically added to your kit when the 1999-2002 year is selected from the drop-down menu ($90 additional cost).
Application
Specifically designed for 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, and 1999-2006 GMC Sierra and Yukon with a 4.8, 5.3, or 6.0 engine. This MAY work for other applications; however, that is at your discretion.
Requirements and Features
- OEM GM 2005-2013 Truck/SUV Factory Cooling Fans or an Aftermarket Replacement for them OR OEM GM 1994-2002 LS1 Camaro/Firebird Factory Cooling Fans or Aftermarket Replacement for them (SEE THE LAST PICTURE FOR COMPATIBLE FAN ASSEMBLY PICTURES. ENSURE YOU CHOOSE CORRECTLY).
- This kit runs BOTH fans on LOW Speed when activated and then BOTH fans on HIGH speed when activated.
- If using Truck or SUV Factory Cooling Fans, you will need a 34″ Core radiator.
- If your truck did not come with cooling fans, tuning the PCM for fans is REQUIRED.
- 1999-2002 Trucks/SUV will need the A/C Update Kit if retaining A/C to ensure that the fans work with A/C properly.

1999-2002 A/C Update Kit (Part Number 1018) Features:
- Screws into existing port with schrader valve, so there is no loss of refrigerant
- All mounting hardware, wiring, and sensor included
- This kit enables the PCM to control your cooling fans while your A/C is on
- Connections Included in this Update Harness: Connection to Provided GM A/C Pressure Sensor and 3 Wires from A/C Pressure Sensor that you will need to pin into the PCM.
*NOTE: PCM MUST BE PROGRAMMED FOR FAN ACTIVATION FOR ELECTRIC FANS TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY.
